Adjustable Dog Car Seat Belt - Reflective Safety Harness Lead

A dog loose in a moving car is a hazard to the dog and to everyone in it. This seat belt lead clips to a harness and holds your dog in one place on the back seat, so a sharp stop does not turn into a dog through the windscreen.

How it works. One end clicks into the seat-belt buckle the car already has; the other clips to your dog's harness. The lead takes up the slack and then gives a little, which is what cushions a sudden stop instead of jerking the dog up short. Reflective stitching means the dog is visible in headlights at the side of the road before you open the door.

Good to know. Always attach to a harness. A lead clipped to a collar and pulled tight on a braked car is a neck injury waiting to happen. Keep the lead short enough that the dog cannot reach the front seats or the window switch, and long enough that it can sit, lie down and turn around. If your dog chews, check the webbing after every trip - this lead is a restraint, not a chew toy, and not a crash-tested harness.

Orders ship from outside the United States. Dispatch takes 2–5 business days and delivery to US addresses typically takes a further 15–30 business days, with tracking. Since the US ended its de minimis exemption, customs may assess duties or handling fees when your order arrives; those charges are the recipient's responsibility and are not included in the price you pay here.
