Handheld Steam Iron — Portable Garment Steamer with Fast Heat-Up

A steam press that lives in a drawer instead of on an ironing board. Hang the shirt, run the head down it, and the crease from the suitcase or the back of the wardrobe drops out. It heats quickly, which is what makes it useful on the way out of the door rather than an afternoon of setup.

What it is good at. It works on hanging clothes: the shirt you are about to wear, the jacket that creased in a case, a curtain that needs a refresh, a dress that has been folded in storage. The tank is small, and that is the trade for a body you can hold in one hand, so expect a few garments per fill and then a top-up. The photos show the complete unit, the handle and soleplate close up, and the steamer held over a garment, so the shape of the head is easy to see.

What to check before you buy

• Where you will hang things, because this wants a garment on a hanger, not a board.
• Whether you mostly deal with knits and heavy wool, which take longer than shirting.
• Anything with a glued or heat-sensitive trim, which wants care.

Good to know

• We cannot confirm the tank volume, the heat-up time in seconds, or the wattage from the supplier listing, so we are not going to quote numbers we cannot stand behind.

• It is small enough to keep at hand rather than set up, which is the whole reason to own one.

Orders ship from outside the United States. Dispatch takes 2–5 business days and delivery to US addresses typically takes a further 15–30 business days, with tracking. Since the US ended its de minimis exemption, customs may assess duties or handling fees when your order arrives; those charges are the recipient's responsibility and are not included in the price you pay here.

• One item, one parcel. Order several things and they may arrive separately, because each one is dispatched by the supplier that holds it.
• Plain packaging. It arrives in ordinary shipping packaging, without a marketing insert.
• Color and tone vary. Natural materials vary between batches, and screens vary too.
• A customs fee may apply on delivery. It is set by customs, not by us, and we cannot estimate it in advance.
