A drawer full of loose cutlery is a drawer you stop opening properly: everything migrates to one end and the piece you want is under the rest. This kit puts two layers of order into a kitchen drawer - a bamboo organizer that expands to meet the sides, and a second bamboo tray for the cutlery that would otherwise be piled on top of it.

What's in the kit

• Expandable bamboo drawer organizer - the sections extend so the tray fills a range of drawer widths instead of rattling around in one fixed size, with divided sections for spoons, forks, knives and serving pieces.
• Bamboo cutlery tray - a second bamboo organizer measuring roughly 33 x 24.1 x 3.8 cm and weighing about 410 g, with sections sized for everyday cutlery rather than a full entertaining set.

Why two trays rather than one

Drawers are sold in nominal widths, so a fixed tray either fits or it does not, and most kitchens end up with the leftover space at the front or the back of the drawer. The expandable organizer takes the awkward width, and the fixed tray gives the cutlery stable sections inside the space that is left. Set the expandable unit in first and extend it until it touches both sides, then place the fixed tray alongside it or in an adjacent drawer.

Shipping and duties

We deliver this kit to United States addresses only. The two bamboo pieces are held separately by our supplier partners, are prepared and dispatched in 2-5 business days, and normally take 15-30 business days to reach you, so they may arrive in separate parcels. Shipping costs nothing once your order reaches $125.00. Both parcels are dispatched from outside the United States, and a customs duty or handling fee may be charged when they enter the country; that charge is the recipient's to pay and is not part of the checkout price.

Good to know

• Measure the drawer's internal width, its depth and the height above it before ordering, because both trays have to live inside those three measurements.
• Because bamboo is a natural material, the grain and tone of each tray differ slightly from the next one.
• Wipe both trays with a damp cloth and dry them instead of soaking them, and keep them away from direct sun.

Orders ship from outside the United States. Dispatch takes 2–5 business days and delivery to US addresses typically takes a further 15–30 business days, with tracking. Since the US ended its de minimis exemption, customs may assess duties or handling fees when your order arrives; those charges are the recipient's responsibility and are not included in the price you pay here.

You can request a return within 30 days of delivery. The item must be unused, undamaged and in its original packaging with everything that was included. Email hello@tidilo.com before sending anything back.

• Delivery timing. Delivery typically takes 15–30 business days after dispatch, which is longer than a domestic order.
• One item, one parcel. Order several things and they may arrive separately, because each one is dispatched by the supplier that holds it.
• Plain packaging. It arrives in ordinary shipping packaging, without a marketing insert.
• Color and tone vary. Natural materials vary between batches, and screens vary too.
• A customs fee may apply on delivery. It is set by customs, not by us, and we cannot estimate it in advance.
